The birthday has been lovely. [Thanks to all the lovely people who said 'OMFG Farren, Happy Birthday! I love you & will have your kids because you are that fucking cool!.'] But, we should forget it next year. Then maybe I can stay 17 for about... 30 years? Growing old is just not fun. It's like prolonging death & being awake the whole time. & most likely that makes no sense, but that's okay. I understood myself. I think.

& so for english class we have this extra credit thing where you write a poem & enter it into this contest. & i need the extra credit. & my teacher likes my poems. but, fuck. I tried writing something, & I ended up with 20 nothings. All I have are a bunch of starters to 20 different poems. & that doesn't help. The furthest I got on any one of them is about 6 lines.

I also have a 10k this weekend. I'm going to die. I'm going to collapse & have to be rolled across the bridge. Why oh why must they test us like this?

Fucking Christina. She doesn't need to run. I envy her. I envy her & her broken leg. NO, I don't.

Instead, I will laugh at Josh's endeavor to attend a 'rock' concert. He will be going to 3 Doors Down. & while I do like some of their songs, I feel for him having to be surrounded by old military men & weird adults. Not fun.

& we have to do something, not this coming weekend, but the next. [Corinna, Laura, Christina, & any other takers?].
